An Historical Bike Ride
The Royal National City Park is an historical park landscape, and an oasis for activities and relaxation. The bike is an excellent mode of transportation when exploring the park. There is a signposted 36 km long bike route through the park, from Ulriksdal in the north to Blockhusudden on South Djurgården.
The bike is an excellent means of transportation when exploring the Park and the bike route allows you to visit different parts of the park in just one day. Along the trail, you can explore the park, visit museums and manors, take some refreshments, watch the birds at the marshes Isbladskärret and Lappkärret, and enjoy the tranquility of North Djurgården and around Kaknästornet. Or why not park the bike and take a stroll in the historic park landscapes of Haga, Ulriksdal, Rosendal and Waldemarsudde?
Obviously, you don’t have to cover the whole distance. Plan your route using our folder
A Historical Bike Ride, including maps and information about 50 points of interest in the Park. You can download the folder here, or order a paper copy free of charge. The folder is also available at various locations in the park, at Visit Djurgården and Stockholm Visitor Center.
