The People’s Park

For over 300 years Stockholmers have made their way to the Royal National City Park for walks and picnics in the fresh air. The park contains Sweden’s largest concentration of sights and attractions: over twenty museums, over fifty restaurants and cafés as well as the famous amusement sites Gröna Lund and Cirkus. Many of the attractions and restaurants are housed in buildings which date back to the era of intensive entertainment during the 19th century.
